We would like to introduce Squad 6. Squad 6 will be the primary engine company for the Menands Fire Department. It will be used to take pressure off of Rescue 6 and Truck 6, ultimately extending the usable life of both apparatus.
We want to thank the Village Board for allowing us to make this purchase and continue to support us in providing the best service that we can for the Village of Menands and its adjoining districts.
Secondly we would like to thank the West Albany Fire Department for giving us the opportunity to buy this piece of apparatus. We promise to take good care of the old E454.
